Material WorldA Poem by Kenneth The Poetlife for humankind sucks, no matter what needs are provided
the good are the good
the bad are the bad
the ugly are the ugly
that may be the beauty of the Christian ethos, a fallen humankind may never get over their brutish nature
life sucks in a material world
with or without it, rich and poor, the religion is here to stay
two-thousand years of staying power or not,
marketing ploy or not,
a life depraved is a true number sentence, now and onward
elixirs distilling and instilling hope will always sell in the best of times and the worst of times
humans are easily duped and being educated about the bad ones emboldens the bad ones further
the negative sells because the negative nature exists
and the Christians figured that out before the computer even came to be
so no matter what, being a sheep is never to equal to being a simpleton
that's the truth, cold and hard © 2013 Kenneth The PoetReviews
