Battles

Battles

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

the battles are always covert
and have few players

and they always

almost always

turned the known world on its ear

but how much do the basics of life
really, really change?

the clash of worldviews may
be fought covertly

but the hearts and minds remain
squarely committed to the basics
of human survival

they fight it

and we live normally

Human survival. Each part of the world trying to survive on their own. It can't work. We work together or the blocks will stumble down. I enjoyed the poem. You gave me something to think about. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
