Oil Slick

Oil Slick

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

madness and sadness

clawing out from deep inside,

the body at rest

is the ether ill,

or is it the carrier

showing no symptoms?

or is the ether

spitting the dark stuff back at

all of humankind?

are we just toxic?

are we just poisonous beasts?

are we just sinful?

light up the season

with all the positive thoughts,

boom goes the oil slick
