ConsecutiveA Poem by Kenneth The PoetWritten in December '23do we read nature or does nature read us? double slits and particles exhibit weirdness that many of us can barely comprehend… such is the nature of paradox, as this statement is false… or is it? but the layperson is a slave to eyesight, only able to see at base level magnification… but even zooming to see the details of a pebble or a rice grain only goes so far, only refocuses the sight to the base level… man sees god in a tripartite configuration, but whether or not that’s based on three point in Euclidean space is up for debate… pareidolia maybe? if pareidolia is the answer, then it probably explains our tendency to think linearly even if the outside the box idiom is invoked… the whole numbers, the integers come to mind… consecutive values separated by one, always be one, always is one… apply the values to the above truth about Euclidean space… one, two, three can’t be made… two, three, four is obtuse… three, four, five is right… the Pythagorean example, the example most widely known, the one where the area and the semiperimeter are the same value, all values consecutive whole numbers… four, five, six is acute… the largest angle is double the smallest angle, the Pythagorean constant hidden deep within, the smallest angle and the Pythagorean constant share an intimate relationship with the seven-sided polygon, the angle bisector of the largest angle creates two triangles where one is isosceles and the other is similar to the original, and when the angle bisector is taken four times, the internal length is a decimal value where the single-digit numbers run from greatest to least… consecutive patterns run through the analysis yet again, a feature of it, it appears… from there, every other one is acute and moves closer toward equilateral perfection… and everyone has quirks all their own, yet there’s not time nor space to exhort about them here… the mind may work in mysterious ways to the uninitiated but the pattern seeking nature makes it easy to discern if one seeks the truth… the consecutive patterns may be the easiest to discover but are quite fascinating nonetheless, whether or not Euclid fleshed them out… let the geometric explorations commence © 2025 Kenneth The Poet |
