Two TogetherA Poem by Kenneth The Poetshe allows black sludge in her home, and she tolerates his favorite hue even though it runs his life… and like Crete loved James, and like Chester loved Nellie, she loves him so much, so deeply in fact… and he does too, and it’s been quite awhile since he put these words to paper… she’s granite, she’s quartz, she’s topaz, she’s corundum, she’s diamond… she’s ruby, she’s sapphire, she’s emerald, she’s garnet, she’s amethyst… she’s the rock that holds him steady, holds him straight… even though the timeline they live in says bohica to them and everybody else… the world and the universe is known for its turbulence, its tempest, its tumult, its turmoil, its troubles… and together they row through it all like Albert and Victoria, like Rainier and Grace, like Justinian and Theodora did before them… and they’ll love each other until each of their respective timelines cease ticking… long live the love that binds two together for life © 2025 Kenneth The PoetReviews
