A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

three days until Jesus collapses on

all of us, but why is it in the winter?

why not the spring or summer?

the lambs are born after all…

for once in our measly lives,

let’s defy the laws of tradition…

I guess that won’t happen because

we still celebrate lies like Columbus

day after all…

so let’s go watch the busy executive

lady dump her rich fiancé for the guy

who makes soap from chopped

chestnuts and reindeer fur…

the path of least resistance is a

hallmark of human existence after all
