Pale Blue Dot

Pale Blue Dot

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet
"

Another one of my patented series of couplets about the future of humankind

"

Gray forms running over the hills

Looking to make any kind of kills

Attacking the urban and rural zones

Searching for pulses in their homes

The infection raging, taking lives

Shaking up the societal hives

And so the great panic is ignited

And the incompetance is decided

The end of mankind is brought about

It's just something to laugh about

And so the universe truly wins

Not caring about all of our sins

Nothing but a pale blue dot

Where all our sins were wrought

Now the undead feast away

The irony as clear as day

Man brought it upon himself

Expired, his life on the shelf

So their won't be the oral story

Of man's downfall, lack of glory

But man has written it already

Always amending, ever so steady

So much for tributes to our lives

We ultimately failed to survive

Humans are the universal b***h

Just an accident, just a glitch
