Battery

For once, a piece that isn't blasphemous

be happy though,
life is still good

life is hard, I know

think of a battery

the minus sign is on the bottom,
the side that stands up

being negative is the easy part
because you can stand on that

the positive part
of the battery
is the top part

it's hard to stand
on a battery
that is upside down

it's hard to live
a positive life

it's hard to have
a commitment
to Christ

but victory is ours

read between the lines
in the book of Revelation

wisdom flows
for those that
have the wisdom,
have the understanding

just submit
and the truth
shall set you free
