Our Destiny

Our Destiny

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

Every man fears the bomb
Because of what can go wrong

A slip-up ends our race
Thus ending our disgrace

Life falters on this dot
The place the galaxy forgot

So down we go, down we fall
We tug on the funeral pall

Just because we are that beast
On the fallout, we always feast

We just lie, we have no fear
We just raze everything dear

So down we go, down we fall
It is our destiny after all

Clear, sharp and to the point, which is articulate and ascerbic. Good write.

Nice. I like how the last line ties the whole poem together. Good meaning.

I'd lengthen the lines, which would make the rhymes take their time in hitting the ear. As it is, they come too fast and lose effectiveness.
