A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

freedom of religious expression
toleration of religious ideas
authority of reason and conscience
never-ending search for Truth
unity of experience
worth and dignity of each human being
ethical application of religion
motive force of love
necessity of the democratic process
importance of a religious community

this is the american way
this should be the american way
our constitution guarantees this
there should be no charge of heresy
our religious history is one that is
a marketplace of ideas and
nobody in the orthodoxy
seems to care now,
so let them practice and let
them not be condemned

need more be said
