American Vision

American Vision

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

The number of fractions upstairs
must be diminished in the certain
segments of the American Vision.

Persecution, exactly?

Message stifled, not really.

The free and public airwaves
are open to all citizens and
those with a faith basis (and
bias) have gone to seed.

Twice the favorite number,
and a triplicate going by the names
of Gabriel, Michael and Raphael
control three-tenths of the
local radio market.

Subtract the just-mentioned
denominator by the numerator
to guess the denomination.

Count your toes, and that's
how many stations broadcast
some strain of Jesus Christ.

One biased toward the papacy
only, and the complement think
they're the seat of Satan.

And the one that holds illegal
ceremonies in the shadow of
the perpendicular t**d is
called a bunch of perverts.

Jesus would be so proud,
and then he'd probably
give a math lecture parable
just to confuse the second
letter added to the forefront
of his name out of his flock.

And that's why
double twenty-one rules!

It's all so confusing....not your poem.....the whole endorsing/attacking Jesus and the people who call themselsves by label. My problem is this: I don't think he was a bad guy, but most people who call themselves by label are leading, following and getting out of the way of bad guys. confusing.
