after all these years,
drinking cup after cup of a liquid with almost the viscosity of motor oil, one would think they've gained some kind of headway against the back-heading tidal wave against American education, driving mile after metaphorical mile eating carb-filled lunches and drinking and draining out caffeinated sludge from a flesh-toned dragon, just to stay awake, just to make it onward to see another fun-filled day even though it may be fruitless in the long run. Whatever the truth may be, sludge like that is both our lubricant and our fuel. © 2011 Kenneth The Poet |
