Moral Being

Moral Being

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

the chalice,

in twelve different

artistic renditions,

stares back at him

and a stinging truth

comes to light

so to speak.

he violated the

first two of Rankin’s

principles because of

his own biases against

public displays of

religious expression.

disbelief can cloud

respect for other

sometimes.

live like a moral being,

and check the disrespect

at the door.
