Souls On Fire

Souls On Fire

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

The knife of insult
cuts the heart rather deeply,
killing all their wills.

Boiling over with
emotional outbursts, red
with rage, much acid.

Setting only their
souls on fire and not the world,
so what else is new?

Made my old mind think with this poem. You open the door to many questions with your words. Insults lead to no-where. Would be nice to hear the truth on occasion. I like the closing line to this poem. A excellent poem.
