whoever talked about
them first, the working class heroes, were likely right, it is something to be. Basically a Westernized untouchable, lost in a mountain of debt because he or she made some choices that weren't the greatest, or because nature doesn't exactly nurture everybody, and so the white collar becomes the grease collar, or the color of sky in daytime, taking paltry amounts for their ever-so-limited lifespans, trading so much just to stay alive longer, to stave off the bitter end, and to give beautiful little peanuts a shot at life outside the plastic box, life turned hard at the inception of the fourth decade, and that's probably where the meaning is meant to be made. at what emotional cost, though? © 2012 Kenneth The Poet |
