Aggravation

Aggravation

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

the surface area equals
the volume in multiples of three,
but the round peg can be parked
in the square hole and not vice versa,
a roll of the dice moves the ball
on the game board called Aggravation,
or is it life maybe?

there are many round pegs in
square holes, and vice versa,
and somehow they survive the
thick of it and the thin of it even,

they adapt, they mutate,
they strive, they thrive
and completely survive

just like the little round mouse
in the oblong plastic box,
a really odd round peg
in a strangely square hole,

may her surface area
and volume increase rapidly
and routinely over the next days,

since life is her game
of Aggravation right now.

Too much math for me my friend. I had to read the poem a few times. Aggravation was create when I was trying to understand the poem. Woman and math can twist our thoughts and actions. Thank you for the excellent poem.
