Mother Earth

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

fifteen billion years
of evolution
have brought us to that
point, that place where we
must care for the Earth,
the mother who birthed us,
and the congregants
will do what they can
to make the world green,
at least much greener,
because this is our
only home we've known
and that is for us
to do before the
Earth is a wasteland,
totally maxed out.
