Till Tape Terse Verse

the till tape is short today,
just blank and awaiting the
spark of inspiration to strike
like the spark that could ignite
a wildfire that could charbroil
any countryside in drought season,

but it's not coming like a limp dick
that's fallen out of love with the snatch
it made vows of permanence with, but a
bunch of words have been put down for the
world to notice whether or not it will set the
world on fire, whatever the legacy of this piece
may be, it's just a piece of till tape terse verse
