Pi Over 4

Beware, this is math heavy and written in the style of an old mathematician but set to modern prose.

evidence of the definition of obsession,

 

take the tangent of point seven eight five three nine eight one six three

 

and that's equivalent to unity,

 

and the arctangent of unity is pi over four by the definition of the inverse function,

 

and four times the arctangent of one-fifth minus the arctangent of one over two-hundred thirty-nine as Machin found,

 

and the arctangent of one-half added to the arctangent of one-third as Euler found,

 

and twice the arctangent of one-half added to the arctangent of one-seventh as Hermann found,

 

and twice the arctangent of one-third added to the arctangent of one-seventh as Hutton found,

 

and the combined total of the arctangents of one-half, one-fifth and one-eighth as Strassnitzky found, or the combined total of the arctangents of one-half, one-fourth and one-thirteenth as this found by accident, but somebody likely found that one eons ago, like Euler did by finding five times the arctangent of one-seventh added to twice the arctangent of three over seventy-nine,

 

yet this hand found the arctangent of any proper fraction with a consecutive numerator and denominator summed with the arctangent of a unit fraction with a denominator that is the sum of the abovementioned consecutive fraction parts will always yield pi over four, always!

 

and yet this surprises no professional mathematician because Ramanujan probably found that identity while having tea with Hardy one day,

 

yet the entries go on and this space is filling up faster than the one that was supposed to contain the proof to Fermat's last theorem,

 

pi over four can be represented infinitely many ways since the singularity, the cosmic egg expanded into the universe,

 

so there's nothing else to say,

 

so the nerd has squawked once more

the most obvious manifestation of intelligence is order, so order in the manifest is a given, and chaos, like god, is the name of what has not yet been recognized as an ingredient of those bumps on the time lines called cause and effect...of course, the whole thing requires energy, so energy is also a given, and it was given all at once, along with the 'structuring' element of order...the symbolic proliferation of numeric and dimensional recognition can be a real forest for the mind, and a cause for joy to those with the brain cells for it...my opinion is that the business of the manifest is time sensitive
