Fates Folly

From the seeds of a death
a whisper became a storm
Fates small caress
butterfly effect from the wings of dismay
What could of been...undone
cosmic experiments to see what happens now
Pavlovian punishments
see what the lack of love creates
Continual clipping of the wings
never let him soar
Kill the spirit!! Kill the spirit!!
crowd roars in the the arena of life
Thumbs down from the King of Happenstance
Fate smiles a Cheshire grin
 
She floats down to greet me
selling her godly grace
Deep dark souless eyes
set upon a pure white porcelain face
Her cold moist breath caresses
freezes the skin upon my cheek
She lovingly whispers in my ear
you will never have that which you seek
Dark musical laughter
she has sent me on my way
I remain her loving folly
for forever and a day

I loved the imagery and the personification of fate and happenstance...

Very strong powerful words in such grace! Sad and ravaging to the highest degree.. your love for this person tears at you and doesn't allow you to move on if I am reading this correctly! So much emotion in such carefully thought out words.. if your writing be true.. I hope you either escape or she warms up and gives you what you need... real love!
