Smiling daffodils

Smiling daffodils

A Poem by Gerry Legister
"

Daffodils looking up to the sky are rare and sublime

"

Through the windows daffodils glow with beauty,

Into the garden atmosphere of sight and reason,

They garnished fields with delightful imagery,

You will never know what's going on till it happen.

Daffodils looked at the sky from the ground,

With rosy hue seasons come around under the sun,

In wayside pastures where their seeds are sown

The greatest treasures of beauty are later found.

Splendid rows intrepid hues of saffron changing color,

Together they toil and glow incredibly brighter

Daffodils austere standing in serene pasture,

Daffodils and Marigold ruffled by the atmosphere.

Smiling daffodils becomes the humor of holiday,

Getting to the heart when love ones get involved,

A humorous tale in nature is born every day,

Step from the past to present a better world.

Daffodils can makes the world smile, laugh and cry,

Accept reasons the seasons in every tearful sigh,

Weakly torn from the strong keep secrets of the eye,

And fallen stem lay where the plains are dry.

Looking up in the sky at reflection rare and sublime,

Cosmic past compelling a sultry mirror in space,

Apricot hue the pleasure of summer’s pleasant end,

Daffodils are the flowers of pride and glory we embrace.
