Distance is the only thing that you ever ask of me
But when I offer distance you pull me just a bit closer

Just remember that choices can be made in ways that aren't always as obvious and that can even directly contradict what someone is saying. Going through something like this sucks though. You are ready and willing to give so much but ultimately you haven't have someone who's ready to receive it as well. That shouldn't be so difficult to find, I always think there should be people who would love to find something like that, but it can be.
