Curiosity didn't kill my Cat

Curiosity didn't kill my Cat

A Poem by Gilad Levanon
"

Wednesday morning ramblings...

"
They say
curiosity killed the cat
I say
screw that

Curiosity defined the domestic feline species
as its' one trait
that made it one of nature's most successful species
to date

They say curiosity killed the cat
I say cats have nine lives
I say the cat's curiosity may have killed the rat
While the cat now continually thrives

I'm a fan of snippets of worldly wisdom
But to me this one is parental rhyme
Designed to oppress a child's freedom
Curiosity gives meaning to life, it gives value to time

So children please
Be curious and inquisitive
Because although curiosity may be risky
It will make life all the more interesting
