The KingA Poem by GlamGirlHis majesty treads lightlyA majestic figure Moves through the jungle. The buzz of chatter Fades away at this appearance. Not a soul Dares to move a muscle. His Majesty treads lightly, As if walking on air. A shriek comes From the canopy above. He stops. His royal ears prick up. Look carefully, And see his muscles tense. A wind comes, Blowing thick hair across his face. He lifts his head And lets out a roar. A roar That shook the trees. A roar That woke the forest. A roar From the lion, His Majesty. © 2011 GlamGirlAuthor's Note
