A child of war,

 

Living in a ghetto,

Sleeping in a refugee camp.

 

An author,

Writing about the Holocaust,

Living the Holocaust,

Surviving the Holocaust.

 

Loves her nanny, brother, and parents

A believer of God

Separated from her family

 

She wants her brother,

Her nanny,

And her house.

 

She uses words,

Letters,

And hope to survive.

 

She gives courage,

Good spirits,

And love to others.

 

She can stand up for herself

She says “I will never know”
