Red is angry.

The color of the fire that burns

inside us all.

 

Red is the color of blood.

It keeps us alive.

 

Red is bold.

Bright and dangerous,

It makes a good t-shirt.

 

Red is candy.

Cherry lollipops,

Sweet licorice,

Spicy cinnamon hard candy.

 

Red is love.

The color of hearts

and sappy Valentine’s Day cards.

 

It is our blood, our hearts, our fires.

Red is what keeps us going.
