Dance Dance Dance

Dance dance dance little girl,

for the world is waiting.

Hold them in suspense,

and don’t spoil any secrets.

They will never be prepared for

you.

 

Dance dance dance little girl,

for the world is watching.

Slap a smile onto your beautiful face,

and stare them all in the eyes.

Put on your best costume and show them

you.

 

Dance dance dance little girl,

for the world is listening.

Plug in the microphones

and slip on your tap shoes.

Have them hear your sounds,

let them experience the music of

you.

 

Dance dance dance little girl,

for the world is dancing with you.

Step by step they are holding you up,

and trying to keep you there.

They want you to do the best in this lousy world.

Show them that

you can.

 

Just dance dance dance.
