Belonging

Belonging

A Poem by Botania
"

You have a place
inside my heart
that's yours and yours alone.
You have a grace
that fills my heart
and gives to me a home.
I see myself
mirrored reflection
in love that never dies.
I know myself
in dedication
in words that never lie.
We give ourselves
to name the song
of winged beats wanting more
to live, to love, to separate
the wheat from chaff swept floor.
I give to you
a serenade
the sweetest of my life
to take away anxieties
and all your pains of strife.

nicely rhymed poem about what love really means...it is "giving"---not concerned about what comes back to us...we give love freely...and if it is good love it will take away the pains of strife.
