Yellow Is

Yellow is a butter cup

to slumber in 

then drink it up.

Yellow is a smile so bright

so nice and warm

just like a light

Yellow is a marigold

that blooms until

the plant is old

Yellow is a day that's long

sunrise, sunset

just like a song

Yellow is a clear horizon

beckoning

us keep our eyes on

Yellow is the winter rose

that blooms for me

when all is cold
