Weep of Willow

Weep of Willow

A Poem by Botania
"

.

"
Weep of willow
reach to me
softly stirring
in the breeze.
O'er the lake
you grow so free
weep of willow,
moving tree.
Cast your blooms
o'er lake and lawn
like powder puffs
that grace the dawn.
Float and land
upon the lake,
distant shore,
new tree to make.

I thought this to be beautifully simplistic, something I have trouble accomplishing. Well written. Somehow described the simplicity and shortness of the cycle of death as well as its elegant gracefulness in life. Good job.

Mysterious as it is simple. Thank you Lilly.
