March Song

March Song

A Poem by Botania
"

.

"
The ides of March
a bleary be
breathing down
our necks you see.
Dancing, twirling
round and round
'til we're dizzy.
Then fall down.
Lush and green,
soft the ground,
Ides of March
so aptly found.
Don the chain
of daisy leaves
petals soft
and speak to me.
Ides of March,
dance of Spring
from water, secrets
life it brings.
Feel the greenness
in the air.
Find the treasures
everywhere.

I like this one too! You keep everything very short and simple, but it also manages to be beautifully descriptive at the same time. It evokes a sense of feeling, a sense of place, and a sense of time... so essentially it's doing everything I image you wanted it to. Great job!

I this love it too, great expression of spring time...you know how to do this well in your writings about the seasons and nature. Very in tune with nature and how you fit into your natural surrounding. :) good work Botania

i love this...ides of march are supposed to be so foreboding and yet you make them something to look forward to as everything turns green...and springs to life.

Ides of March,
dance of Spring
from water, secrets
life it brings.

So unique and beautiful, let me dance in that spring season with soft leafs. Beautiful....
