We are becoming

the stuff of dreams

our heart's desire

or so it seems,

as we aspire

to fill our lives

with what we love

with fragile strives

i feel this being about poetry...we keep writing, we keep becoming, poets.

Steps are required to go anywhere, even backwards but aspiring steps always take us on an upward trajectory. I like the use of the word strives here - I like when words are used unconventionally. The graphics also inject some of that 'reaching for the stars feel'.
