The world on fire

This is an old poem that I just found by chance. It is not really an attempt to create a masterpiece but rather capture a certain emotion... Enjoy

each time you smile a universe is created within my soul

every time you look away divine hand wipes out generations of memories

when your eyes meet mine a bridge appears to the other side of Impossible

when your hand reaches for mine and stops half-way it doesn't matter

on the other side you and I are already holding hands, locking breaths, forging our own Eternity

even though it cannot be said aloud

the whole world is on fire with the screams of our hearts
