July being July

What a beautiful day to be alive!
Today..
Sunshine on the kitchen floor

smells like butter and cocoa powder

Vivaldi evoking the four elements

earth for the daisies
I water them everyday
air swaying with my fine linen curtains

and coffee simmering on dim fire

What a beautiful day to be alive!

today..
I gently sip my coffee as the birds ripping my cookies
I smile

I admire you for your uninhibited expression which conveys the very sense of freedom of which you write. I feel this way every day becuz I live in a gorgeous wilderness spot, but it must be more challenging when one wakes up surrounded by strife or ugliness, so I try to share what I can from my own bounty.
