If thy cannot splash through the roughs

What joy the cathedral of Notre Dame
If thy cannot be bemused in its mystery

What joy the city of Amsterdam
If thy cannot feel Van Gogh, Rembrandt and history

What joy the high streets of Paris
If thy do not in the scents blend and fade

What joy the gondolas of Venice
If thy mate for you cannot serenade

What joy the places
