It Never Been Easy

AS A CHILD IT WASN'T EASY BUT THE STRUGGLE MAKES US BETTER AS ADULTS. MANY WILL UNDERESTIMATE BUT THAT'S THEIR MISTAKE. BELIEVE IN YOU NOT WHAT THEY THINK OF YOU.

I never had it easy as a child,
It ain't been any easier as a adult either,
The struggle motivates me not hold me back,.
I'm thankful that mama never sheltered us,
It made me and my siblings stronger,
Life gonna get harder become it gets easier.

No time to sit around and cry,
Pick up the pieces and fight against all odds,
Beat the odds don't let them beat you,
Prove them wrong never prove them right,
Many always second guessed me,
But that never stopped me but it pushed me.

Keep doubting me and I'll show you otherwise,
If nobody believes you make a believer outta them,
I been destined for greatness since birth,
Mama always believed me,
That's all the support I need,
Everyone ain't gonna always want to see you win,
Doesn't matter long as you believe in yourself.

They will always see the bad,
But won't ever acknowledge the good,
Hate comes easier than the love,
Why I don't know but that's just the world we live in,
Don't ponder on the hate but embrace the love.
