A Poem by Grace Lee

The credits rolled, before the story even begun.
We met the end, so abruptly and prematurely.
A Tragedy, maybe a Horror story?
Played in repeat, Rinse and repeat...

I'm still standing back then,
Stumbling in your footsteps.
Distorted, completely changed
Revolving around the past.

A poem of my past regrets,
Don't erase it, always remember.
A chapter of rejecting happiness,
A story that refused to prove my existence.

I didn't want to see the future,
I didn't want to see tomorrow.
This tears that can't be wiped,
I know, will never reach you.

"I'm sorry, I died. I never meant it to be so."

Don't say such sad things...

"Shall we say goodbye?"

Please don't go away...

"I love you, always and unchanged."

Those true feelings, you left behind.
In written paper and dried up tears.

Sincerely yours and only...

Falling, floating...
Tumbling, soaked red.
The credits we finally met.

I enjoy your format. It's good stuff. Poetry gets stale real fast. It's good to see this kind of thing. Reminds me of reading a first draft of a professionally written screenplay... they use font color to organize their dialogue. There is a copy of Michael Mann's Collateral screenplay that looks like a rainbow. (underrated movie by the way... I don't even like Tommy Cruise or Jamie Foxx but that movie is spectacular)

This placed a platinum tabernacle inside of me.

Cool piece. Like I'm watching an old 80's film.
