A Poem by grimm.flower

Sit on the torn couch,

With your "broken heart"

Over something stupid.

Feel her cry.

Feel the red lines on her skin.

Feel the salty dew drops on her skin.

Sense her smeared make-up.

Do you know what you've done?

No one sees her break.

No one sees her cry.

Everyone sees her emergency smile.

Of all the times you've

Told her faux stories.

And whine to her.

Make her feel sorry for you.

She did.

That was before she caught on.

You blame your ladies.

For your heart break.

And horrible life.

Or is it just her?

She doesn't know anymore.

Do you know how many nights she wasted thinking about you?

She took another guy.

He was the first i a long time.

She's to young to settle.

SHe didn't want to.

But she knew you'd never ask her about anything.

Her mind is in a craze, now.

So,

Are you listening?

Are you listening?

Thank You.

For breaking your promise.

For bringing understanding in to her life.

For ruining her.

Like spilling water on her painting.

Oops! It was an accident.

The f**k it was.

There is no hate between you and her.

She stopped hating.

She doesn't really feel much anymore.

Once again,

Thank you for that.

Most folks don't show tears. Just move on and become colder. I like the honest and direct statements in this poem. Complete poem was very good. I like the ending to the excellent poem.
