What Is Love?A Poem by GuardianNo real description needed. Just a poem. What is Love? What is love? A roaring lion? A dove? The jaws of love clamp down on wounded soul, A soul so marred by brutal, hated love So cruel a love hath struck a bloody hole. With great wrath, cruel love breaks my tender heart. A love that my love, will never return. Frowning she says her disappointing part, Her word, one word, stings like a flaming burn. Alas, a glorious light breaks through love’s clouds, A connection so bright that love can birth. If only one can see past love’s blind shrouds, A soul can rejoice in love’s joyful mirth. A heart with so many faces is love, A glorious, golden bright, morning dove.
