i was the moon

and you were the sun

i tried to get your attention

and i found some

you looked at me

and your light reflected off of my surface

in that moment you decided i was too bright, i was sore on the eyes

and so you turned away

strange irony in this, that the two participants have an ongoing working relationship. there are often people at the workplace who turn away rather than pay attention.
