The last person I ever thought

The last person in my mind

He was the last person I ever thought this could happen with

Here I am today

In love with the man I had once hated

Now I am seeing past those times

Pulling back the veil that reveals his true self

I am in love

And I couldn’t be happier

The day we realized

The day the truth was discovered

Seems just like yesterday in my head

Although it wasn’t yesterday

That day was the first day it occurred
