Country RoadsA Poem by Shalini RAt the top plateau of the Sky-lit sea One white-winged glory Sailed, surfing air Cutting the wind With her grace. A sweet country road Followed and raced along Tall stalks of still green corn. And I still remember the Dollops of clouds that Ruled that day, Prephorated and very sedated Covering a sea-lit sky. I remember thinking I wish you were here.
