In the city

Cars sailed by, a whoosh with headlights.

A blanket covered the sky

Terrycloth

And the lights from the city

Looked like fallen stars

Inverted heaven

Paradise is a place on earth.

Today I was awake for the sunrise.

Oh how glorious. Nothing like a good sunrise...especially when you view it while the rest of the world is still sleeping....it's like your own personal commune with nature. I love your descriptions...it's a beautiful image of your personal sunrise. Awesome!

i love the descriptions..and the imagery..i think that you use your words carefully and they expressed your feelings of something beautiful very well..You say alot in such a few short lines..
