Thoughts of You

As I walk along the shore

Thoughts of you

Came crashing through the waves

A sudden chill

From the icy breeze

As images frozen back in my mind

Stillness surrounds me

As I close my eyes

Unbearable, tomented pain fills my soul

Will these memories

     ebb with the tide?

Will this pain

     fade with the setting sun?

Will I

     ever find love again?
