And Yet Together We WillA Poem by I Cast a ShadowI wrote this for my lover months ago. I have several of these themed poems that I have successfully and unsuccessfully collected and am attempting to edit as much as I can while keeping original form.Black skies invade No light to break Sunlight; dull blades Unscathed pitch and ash gust eternal
. . . and yet
Light bursts and pours when two poles meet Enough to shatter reality Without bonds they bide in hysterical voids Like mortal vamps in torturous shadows
. . . together
We will suffer with meaning than alone with none We will pierce dark abysmal contort waiting beyond We will exist more than before We will venture in euphoria making fantasy reality
. . . We will © 2011 I Cast a ShadowFeatured Review
