Wand'ring and Wond'ring

Inspired by Dante's occasional confusion, my own, yours, and Jethro Tull's lyrical form from the song, "Wond'ring Aloud".

Wand’ring asleep, I am at a loss; am lost

Cloudy muddling mind meanders among what?

I lay down by the dream stream

I dream inside a dream. . . 

Wond’ring awake, I come upon two paths

Neutral impression and so much at stake.

I turn to the left to go

And I don’t know why.

Over my shoulder I wander and wonder,

What was right?

I wonder...what would happen if I measured a sheeps width by poking deep holes all round its circumference until the blood had all left? Would it be accurate? Yes, I go back and wonder at many things I have done. Like poking sheep for instance. This was a great poem! I loved it!
