Innocence Surrendered

Inspired by a story idea titled 'Innocence'.

For what do you surrender your innocence?

I will never regret what I have done

For I have but loved to madness

Until my face became a mask and I

Became only what others thought I was

And so I am hunted

Or I only hope I am

Because then that would mean to me

There is no longer no one there
