Venom

Venom

A Poem by Haley Lynn Thomas
"

Fun Fact: Her last name starts with the letter V! Now I know what it stands for...

"

You can put on that innocent act

Where you say "Oh, it wasn't me"

You can put on that beautiful smile

But I can still see the venom in your eyes

The others may fall for your disguise

They may fall under your spell

But I was too strong to be hypnotized

I could see the venom in your eyes

You act just as sweet as chocolate kisses

And it's making me sick to my stomach

You can where that fake smile as long as you like

But I can still see the venom in your eyes

No one could have thought you so malicious

No one could have thought it but me

There was a time I thought we could be friends

But that time was a long time ago

So you can put on that innocent act

It always worked on eveyone else but me

But no matter who you pretend to be

We both know you're nothing but a sadistic b***h
