17. Venom

17. Venom

A Chapter by Haley Lynn Thomas
"

Fun fact: Her last name starts with V.

"

You can put on that innocent act

The one where you say “Oh, it wasn’t little ol’ me”

And you can put on that beautiful smile

But I can still see the venom in your eyes

The other's, they may fall for your disguise

They may fall under your spell

But I was too strong to be hypnotized

I could still see the venom in your eyes

You act just as sweet as chocolate kisses

And it's making me sick to my stomach

You can wear that fake smile as long as you'd like

But I can still see the venom in your eyes

No one could have thought you so malicious

No one could have thought it but me

There was a time when I thought we could be friends

But that time was a long time ago

So you can put on that innocent act

It always worked on everyone else but me

But no matter who you pretend to be

We both know you'll never be anything other than sadistic

Author's Note

Haley Lynn Thomas
I wrote this about one of my many, many, many bullies from school. I knew her from elementary to high school and she was always a horrible, mean person. I honestly hope to never see her again. She had no redeeming qualities.
