Random fact about me time: 22 is my favorite number!

Let me guess, you're having a bad day

You didn't drink your coffe this morning

And now nothing's going your way

And so you've decide to take it out of me

 

I mean, it only seems fair

After all, I'm so deserving of your attitude

Please, allow me to apologize for being human

I guess Little Miss Perfect never makes mistakes

 

Now I don't mean to sound mean

But you're acting a little rude

Is that the way you talk to everyone?

Honey, you're really not all that special

 

So, I'm so sorry I tripped up

I mean, it's not like you ever do

No, you're too busy acting like a queen

To ever mess up like me

 

Do I sound a little bitter?

Well, maybe I kind of am

Please, go take your attitude somewhere else

Because you don't want to deal with mine

Author's Note

I love my job, it is one of the very best parts of my life. I know that sounds strange, but it's something I really enjoy. However, because I'm young and sometimes make mistakes, I feel like some people have a low opinion of me. They are just waiting for me to screw up and when I do they make me feel horrible; completely idiotic and worthless. This poem is written about a particular day and person. When I write angry poetry I am often sarcastic, which you will probably notice as a common theme in these types of poems.
